It's a lovely Tuesday and I've been running around like a maniac. I started my day off by spilling my breakfast (while driving to work) on my blue silk dress. Okay, the dress is actually my sister's, but still...I look like a slobby slob. I found myself thinking that if I were a paper doll, I could flap on a new outfit in a jiffy! Wouldn't that be lovely! You know you loved paper dolls too and you're agreeing with my right now.
Having the paper doll wardrobe would be a total advantage...especially during construction season. I spend the majority of my time in the office on the phone and at the 'puter, so I dress for the office. Yesterday I visited the job-site in ballet flats and a flipping cardigan. Seriously? If I was a paper doll, I could've flapped on some boots, jeans and a jacket...and ventured into the mud. That's a good time.

I haven't played with paper dolls since I was about ten. Grandma Nonie had the BEST paper dolls...old ones, new ones, fat ones, and gnome ones. Yeah, really. (As I read that last sentence I realize that Grandma would've scolded me for using "ones"...but I'm keeping it there). Every visit to Grandma and Grandpa's house was awesome. Seriously. If she wasn't paying us "two bits" to clean the playroom we messed up, she was keeping us busy with crafts. FUN crafts! We can talk about all of that later. There are endless Grandma Nonie stories... (xoxo) Do kiddos still play with paper dolls? Or is that so...three decades ago?
