Manic Monday
Holy schnikes, the weather has been insane the last few days! The high winds caused power outages, the excessive snow is wreaking havoc, and Alaska drivers are silly! In fact, it's been four days of constant tow truck action in Anchorage. Which is funny, because every time I see a tow truck I think of Adventures in Babysitting - remember the mighty Thor. Remember this classic 1987 movie? No kidding, Vincent D'Onofrio looked a little different back then?!
I hope (knock on wood) that I can contain myself on the roads and stay out of the ditches. I'm fairly certain the mighty Thor will not be coming to my rescue. If the mighty Bryce lived in Anchorage, he would be our rescuer. The mighty Bry is celebrating a birthday today - he's kind of a big deal.
Speaking of the mightiest of them all; Thor and Bryce...it's that time of year when most of us reflect on the many things we are thankful for. I won't get sappy today, but there are so many special people in my thoughts right now. I hope you are all spreading cheer and appreciating the ones you love. Trust me, they are worth it.
