Wedding Season Roundup

Vintage. Weddings. Hunger Games. Weddings. The gorgeousness exuded from Facebook, Pinterest, and other sites has been oh so inspiring lately.  My wedding days are long over, but it doesn't stop me from admiring the soft silhouettes.  The Today Show featured wedding trends today and I felt inspired to share a few wedding

First stop - the Hunger Games themed wedding shoot by The Gown Swap got me really excited. The dress is a simple, gorgeous number AND the photo shoot is lovely.

If you're not familiar with The Gown Swap, you should be. You can find gently used, lovely bridal gowns and bridal party dresses for a smoking deal.  Some of the dresses have been altered, but there are measurements provided and custom tailoring is readily available in Anchorage.
My new favorite line, featuring drop-dead gorgeous, vintage-y frocks is the new bridal collection from Anthropologie's BHLDN. If I could go back in time to choosing my wedding dress, this site would elicit some serious "Oohs and Aahs".  Vintage charm, classic styling, and intricate, delicate details.  The Ethereal Monarch gown (right) makes my heart happy.  The details of the lovely neckline to the pleated tulle peeking from the hem are enough cause for celebration!  Can you see yourself floating dreamily down the aisle in this?  Thank you, Anthropologie, for taking your designs to the next level!
Inspiration Round-Up:
I could peruse wedding sites all day, but alas, I have work to do. But I will leave you with this fabulous image.  Happy Thursday!
