A Little Bit of Chicken Fried...

And...a little bit of everything else.  It's officially the middle of January and as predicted, I'm way behind on posting. Not that anyone but me is keeping track, but here we are for an update of ramblings.  When we were young, we would always hear advice on not growing up too fast...like "don't wish to grow up too soon, it will all go very quickly when you do".  Those "old" folks weren't kidding. It seems like I'm always saying "Oh! It's the middle of (insert month) already?!".  But, this is life...am I right?

Some amazingly wonderful things have been happening all around me and I wake up each day with that "holy sh*t, this is awesome" feeling. 

Here are a couple snippets of "hells yeah" things that make me smile!

My little sister got engaged right before Christmas to a wonderful, thoughtful guy that knows she's a princess and appreciates every bit of it.  So, so, so excited! Yippee!  And...our lovely friend, Yendle got engaged the same day too!  Love this couple and can't wait to see what's in store for them in the future!

We've started the adoption process. This is HUGE...as in a huge, wonderful step in building our family.  Holy smokes...if you've gone through it, then you know the drill!  I won't delve into this too much yet, but we're hopeful and excited to see what 2013 will hold.  Stay tuned for this new adventure...
