It's Money, Honey!

TGIF! Yesterday, I was swindled by a "delegator"...you know the type: lots of running around (so busy), barking orders, and other such passive-aggressive antics. I was in the middle of writing a proposal that was due within a few hours and the delegator came flying in with; "oh man, I am SOOOO BUSY and I need help...just need to close out some stuff over the next few weeks..."

I agreed to help..."yeah, I have time over the next few weeks, I can get that done."

"Great, I'll let the owner know."

Twenty minutes later, I can hear the whistling wafting up the stairs...he strolls into my office (still whistling) and casually says; "so, do you think you think get that file made up by Monday?"

"Sure, I can try, I''ll get to working on that as soon as I get this proposal in." {You know, the one that's due within the next ninety minutes}

I shit you not, three minutes later I receive an email popup in the lower corner of my proposal mess. The email is promising that I will have that file to the owner by Monday. I'm certain my head spun around like Linda Blair... Then el husbando strolled into my office and told me I had "ringworm" on my head. The whole day was a Seinfeld episode in the works.
