Did You Know That Alaska is a US State?

Did you know that Alaska is a US state?  Apparently not everyone does. I sent an e.mail to nomorerack.com this morning asking them if they could work on shipping to Alaska.  This did not go as planned...you can read the e.mail chain below.  She has indicated that they only ship to the "50 main land of USA".  I'd love to know what those other two "main land" states are that she's referring to?  I promise that we are part of the good ol' US of A.  Yes, we do things a little differently in Alaska and we're behind the times, but come on!  I assure you that we have no problem receiving packages in Anchorage and throughout Alaska.  How can we dispel this myth?  Give me your thoughts?

Wow, srsly?! For the record, I live in TX and know that Alaska is a US State. Wow, I'm just stunned Lol!

Hi there, just found your blog, and didn't know whether to laugh or cry about this! I know Alaska belongs to the US and so do people in general around here, and we are in a country far over the sea. And really, does she have to repeat their goal of customer satisfaction every time???
