Go Red Today!

Today is National Go Red For Women Day. Heart disease is the number one killer of women. Like women don't have enough health issues to worry about, now we get to worry that our hearts will fail us.

In honor of Go Red Day, I almost had a heart attack! The sewing machine repairman called this morning with the estimate to fix the Viking. $370!!! Holy crikes - when I heard that, the little paper heart attached to my shirt flew across the room and stuck to the wall. WHAT? Typical Viking - plundering and pillaging throughout the land...

Yeah, I'll go red today.... Red in the face. Be still my beating heart - I'm off to the gym to work it out.
