Traffic Dude

Every morning on my little 40 minute commute from the Riv' I listen to the same radio station - Mix 103.1. They have a couple of DJ's who are sometimes humorous, which provides a laugh or two on the commute. Besides their feature "celebrity hot tub", which features the latest celebrity gossip, they have a fun little morning quiz that allows us annoying listeners to test our knowledge, hear our voices on the radio, and possibly win $20 at Gwennies.

The reason I'm mentioning said radio station today is the traffic "dude" - Randall Brandt. His name should be the first indication that something is awry...the second would be his condescending, game-show host voice. The third and final would be his attempts at inserting "big words" into the morning commute report. He not only finds a way to use the word "ubiquitous" everyday, but this morning he actually ended the report with "how's that for a double entendre". WTF? Seriously? It snowed 4" in the last few hours, visibility is less than 20', and Randall Brandt is spouting about double entendres? Not to mention the fact that his "double entendre" didn't apply to my flippin' commute. Done spouting...off to my coffee....
