Houston, we have a problem...

Yep, welcome to frigid Friday. After summoning the courage to call the sewing machine repair place to inquire about the status of the Viking, I thought my life would be grand from there. Nope. No such luck. They don't even recommend fixing the machine for this exorbitant amount because it's not worth it and I should put the estimated $370 for repairs toward a new machine. I could cry...or I could drink my coffee and look at this positively, right? I can take the money (and another large chunk) to upgrade to a faster machine that does embroidery and look around for a used industrial machine for the thicker fabrics (which caused said damage to Viking). It's an investment, right?
