Sickness and Creativity...

So...yesterday I was sick as a dog and stayed home from work after lunch.  I was very "Dude" like in my bathrobe and messy hair...wandering from room to room trying to figure out how to be productive.  Yeah, not so much.  I spent most of the day in front of the tv and enjoyed my lineup: Tale of Desperaux and Marry Me.  Marry Me with Lucy Liu was some Lifetime special and it was cute...but I have to say, Lucy Liu's dresses and handbags in the show - PHENOMENAL.  Kind of makes me want to get my butt moving on some dresses.  Of course I can't find any good photos of her dresses, but the cut and color of this one made me smile...

In addition to the tv lineup, I felt like doing a little painting.  I am NOT an artist, but our Grandma Nonie was, so I like to dabble.  The best part about this little piece of "art" is that it made me feel better yesterday and I kind of thought it was pretty.  Haha.  After looking at it this morning, it looks like I was in a cheery, yet dismal mood.  :)  Um yeah, I think I'll stick with the fabric and rivets.

Or perhaps I should spend a week organizing the disaster area...that might aid in cleaner creativity.  Feng Shui, right?
