Dog? What dog?
So…what kind of animal would a non-animal loving person get. If you said “none”, you would be correct. However, if you live with an animal lover that hounds you for months (and you’re a big pushover), you eventually give in. Which is what I did…and here we are. This is Tank. Whom I find to be the coolest dog on the planet. He snores like an old man with sleep apnea, has an overly wrinkled face, eats his food like a little piggy, and is a pretty great snuggler. Tank (or Tanker or Frank the Tank) has broken me…I LOVE walking in the door after work to find him leaping toward me with enthusiasm. I know, I’m, a big wimp. If you looked at this face on a daily basis, you would smile too.

In addition to Tank, there’s another male in the house who makes me smile daily. We recently moved into a bigger house (that’s another delicious blog in itself) and we have the luxury of a double shower. I’m not just talking about a bath/shower with double heads…I mean a full on locker room style double shower. This glorious thing makes mornings easier and way more entertaining. I stand across from Bub in the mini-locker room shower every morning while he sings country music at the top of his lungs. I'm a little groggy most mornings, so it takes me a few minutes to enjoy it. By the end of the shower I am usually singing along (not well, mind you) and I'm smiling. There's something to be said about the little things in life...you never know when a small thing will change your life.
